Here are the rules of the site, packs and who owns them, cultures of each pack and the history of Mendoza and the Gods. Update your knowledge of the site by reading each one before making a wolf and choosing your pack.

The red woods trees grow wild and the brush is lush with animals and food. The canopy is so high that rain barely penetrates. The forest itself gives off a sort of cathedral like atmosphere that is only appropriate for the High Alpha and Alphess that live here. In the winter, the tall red woods stand like naked mountains. The blue sky breaks between their naked limbs and covers the forest floor with a blanket of snow. The winter time is also the only time to see the Aurora Borealis that flash through the sky.

As beautiful as the ice makes these silent peaks, there still lurks danger. Wolves, elk and snow shoe hares are not the only thing to call these sheer cliffs home. Panthers live within the walls of the mountain, preying on young wolves for a quick meal. Wolves that live her are quick and easy to outwit even the fastest cat. Though the cliffs are high and steep, the wolves have almost webbed feet that help them run across the snow no problem and climb up the steepest cliff. In the dead of winter, ice storms carve beautiful sculptures with the snow and flat areas make a perfect skating rink for young wolves.

Welcome to the main area of the hidden valley wolves. Breezes blow through at all times, and often you will see wolves popping in and out of the wind as they travel about on daily business. A great rock sits in the middle of the highest hill, which is where the Alpha's often laze upon. It is a friendly open land where all can roam. Rabbits are often see about, though usually the wind wolves seek larger prey on the hunts outside of the main area.
Beyond the ravine, passed the grove of trees lays an oasis unlike any other. The grass is high and comforting, the water is crisp and sweet. There are hidden caverns about great for pup raising and mating or if one merely wishes to catch up on sleep. Tunneling and other forms of rock movement are prohibited here for obvious reasons.

Nothing completes the Transylvanian atmosphere like a dark and demeaning castle high up on a hill. Not only was this once home to the ruthless Count Dracula as most people called him, but now it lay in ruins, showering wolves with bits of molder and pumice. It's perfectly livable to wolves though and once, long ago, it had been the home of Volcan's clan, the Sun Clan. Reports have been said that Volcan's spirit still walks the corridors of his old pack and haunts all who oppose the dark side. Beware, he may be a spirit but he'd hurt you in any means necessary.

Blood River is seated neatly upon a large, thickly-vegetated island at the center of a dark bayou. Fireflies flit throughout this places, merely flurries of whirling light. They provide the only light source - apart from the few shafts of green sunlight that struggle to penetrate the swampland’s canopy. Everything is eerie, carrying an aura of darkness that can sift into the very build of any wolves bones. Light can barely streak through the many vines and foliage that shelter this bayou. The Alphas den is surrounded by slippery vines and tree branches that form a sort of barrier, while the waters that swirl around it are slick with slime and mud. Even though it is enshrouded and cradled by a low-hanging blanket of ghostly mist, shima wolves traverse through this place with ease and certainty, leaving unafraid of their shadowed world. It is said that the gloom that grips their territory leaves their hearts soulless of any emotion and minds filled with void thoughts, but that is untrue; the Shima Wolves are intellectuals who hold prize creativity, wisdom and sheer intelligence, but with a spiteful attitude.
This is where it comes down to. The long ago field where Leto's father killed hundreds of wolves, who, he thought betrayed him. The grass is permanently red from the blood and the rivers run red as well. Not a very relaxing place...

At the beginning of Mendoza, when Leto reunited the packs, Deep Waters had been the sister pack. Leto's brother, Kemono, ruled this pack with it's lush fir tree forests, shale ground and large quarry like lake. Now, as a Dark pack, not many wolves come here anymore. The water is far deeper then any wolf had ever seen and the fish that live in it sometimes grow to be larger then that of a wolf. The forests are stocked with red deer and coyotes as well as the occasional grizzly bear. The den site is not far from the lake. In fact, it's an old well that had long since dried out and lays sideways on the ground, a perfect hole for a wolf to casually walk down.

Loud booms, cracking sounds, Long tall green and brown grass. The blistering winds blowing threw the plains. Piercing the ears of those who walk in the lands without the warning of the lighting striking down on the ground. Some places the trees have been split in half and some are burnt down. Delicately in the middle of the pack lands is a lake, where the lighting wont hit from some odd reason. No one is sure why but a lot of the wolves really do not care for it is a safe spot to be when a storm rolls in which is every month. Now on one side of the lake is a large willow tree which the branches hang into the water which gives the lake a nice place to have some shade and around the lake are some very pretty flowers. But you are warned the Alphess of the lands is not a very kinda wolf. She may act like she is a peaceful wolf but cross the lines and you better hope that she doesn't kill you on the spot.

Rebel's cove is a large cave at the base of a precipice beside the ocean that flows in and out of the land, mesmerizingly peaceful, constantly watching ashore on the sandy beach as it pulls the tiny grains out to sea. The smell of salt water is almost calming, bringing a sense of homeliness as the ocean air surrounds you. This is the place for wolves who feel they have lost their place in the packs, or simply don't want to choose a side in the war. The rebel's purpose is to be a neutral side in the war, a side in which nobody is light nor dark. This is seen the most in the creators of the pack, one of whom was a direct descendant of Lady and Lord Moon, another of whom was from one of the darkest families of Mendoza.

This is still the most beautiful pack in Mendoza. It's also the most peaceful. This small waterfall was the main landscape for this pack. In the twilight hours of night, the water almost glows with a soft blue light from the marble rocks that cover the bottom. Long ago, this had been a bathing pool for the women of a village now long disappeared. Small brightly colored fish flicker in and out of the light, causing brilliant colors of light to shoot out of the water. The falls also has a soothing cascading sound that's enough to calm any wolfs' stress or worries and put them quickly to sleep.

Silent....dark....voices of the past.... Ancient Crypts is not for the faint of heart. During war and plague times, the Crypts were heavily active with the burying of the dead. Now, seventy years later, it lays still and silent beneath the ground and forests that hide it. One single entrance way gives light to the forsaken crypt. Otherwise, you're on your own. A single grounds keeper that lives not too far away, makes sure that the torches are always burning, to respect the dead that lay on shelves all along the wall. Towards the back of the crypt, and at the center of the maze, is a large cathedral like room where the humans had buried their royalty. The shelves bare witness to these mighty royals but not all are full. This is where the crypt wolves reside. Deep within the heart of the maze. Do you dare to test your wit against the maze? There could be more then flickering torch shadows around those corners...

A place where loners go if they are either not accepted, exiled, or left their packs. ONLY loners live here. Other wolves may visit.

A large black mountain where a large, hovering cloud covers it. This is the temple of Lord Death where Dark wolves come in hopes to speak with the mighty God. Most wolves are met with silence. Long ago, on top the alter within the temple, Felksu had turned wolves immortal by draining the blood from their bloodies and letting it run down the sides of the mountain like a stream. Today, only the blood stains on the alter are proof to his existence.

Many dark wolves are never blessed with the privilege of meeting Lord Death face to face so they succumb themselves to coming here, the darkest mountain in Mendoza, where a broken temple lays fallen in ruins. A lone alter stands before it, blood staining it's marble surface. Many sacrifices had been made before Lord Felksu here. Dark wolves come here to worship Lord Death or for guidance.

A small cave in between Demon Mountain and Moon Mountain. Its winding maze of tunnels burrowed deep under both the mountains, or they used to before the Origin and the Guardian were born. Now its tunnels have receded and have come together to a larger chamber room and the Origin of Peace and Chaos. From the mouth of the cave leads a tunnel to the large chamber room, which lies a temple to the Guardian and an altar where he/she can be summoned for counsel with the Rebels. Further inwards lies another tunnel, this one long and winding which leads to the underground lake of the Origin.

In the foot hills of Moon Mountain is a temple nestled in a rocky outcrop with a willow draping over the entrance. The beautiful blossoms marking the entrance to the temple. Out side is a crystal clear pool where there High followers come to call upon The Lord and the Lady.

The twin mountain of Demon Mountain, it was only right that this be the place to worship Lady Moon. It's white all year long due to limestone and snow. A ruined temple lies at the top where wolves come in search of answers or for guidence.

When light wolves die, they feel the need for comfort and guidance into their strange new beginning. Unlike Mendoza, it's always warm, just barely body temperature to keep any wolf from ever noticing the temperature at all. A soft light comes through the trees, making the surrounding color almost silver and gray. This place is only for the Virtues and the dead.

This is the resting place of all rebels. No longer will they wander with no home once they perish. They now will have a place to rest in peace. If Lady Moon's Territory is paradise, than so is this. If Lord Death's Territory is Hell, then so is this. This territory contains all four seasons each with their own area. Spring, summer, fall, winter. Each individual season lies here for the rebels to enjoy whether it be the warmth of spring with the rains, or the plentiful prey with summer, though it gets unbearably hot. Then fall with its oddly colored leaves and biting cold wind and winter where everything is frozen and nothing blooms. Only the middle of the territory is untouched by a season, the sun always shining here, it is neither hot nor cold. Inside this small neutral circle is the den of the Guardian and his/her Chosen.

Guardian:

Echos bounce from wall to wall. It is almost impossible for one to actually take a silent step on these lands considering the numerous amounts of rocks and stones that lie about in this giant crater. When one enters this gorge, it is impossible to reach the top. Many have tried and died doing so. Only one has ever made it and they were unknown still to this very day. The rock about is dark and littered with shadows and it is also very cold here and it would not be advised to remain here over night because the temperature sinks down to freeze the very blood of a wolf, killing it. Nothing lives here except The sins. It is said that these creatures can withstand the cold and with devote any who wonder in here without attention. To escape the wrath of this being, one must stare at it without emotion on the face.. if not, they will be killed.

Looking to increase your pack or just continue your lines? Come here to find suitable she-wolves who stay here in search of homes or mates. There is a light area with lush grass and a darker area with dead grasses. In the middle is where rebel she-wolves stay, neither happy nor dull.

Here are were the males come to relax, find a mate, or get picked for a pack.

A place to rest and think about just about anything. A beautiful waterfall cascade down from a sheer cliff giving off a light, cool spray of water that can calm any wolf.

Many dens clutter on the side of a cliff face just large enough for two young lovers to fit inside comfortably. Blossom trees shed tiny pink and white flowers over all the entrances. Almost making it like a honeymoon suite house. Come here to mate with your loved one! Remember, NO FOUL PLAY!!! DO NOT GO OVER BOARD!!

The den is placed in a hill side old fox den. A willow tree hangs over the entrance to give the female a bit of privacy. It is also located in the center of a field so watching fathers can spot for danger. Here you can give birth to your pups in private and not be disturbed.

Show off your new litter to everyone! Make sure you include number, sexes, names and what they look like.

This is the place where abandoned pups go to be adopted. It's a simple Apple and Pear orchard with high field grass.

Once a month, the Alphas of each pack get together at a large rock and give news of each others packs. Deaths, births, acceptances...

If you have a feud to settle with another wolf or just a fight for territory of position, you do it here, a hole in the rocky ground made by erosion. If you happen to be fighting on a rainy day, you'll fight in the mud. A good mess up when fighting.

Place your loved ones in the soft soil beside the stream where the grass is green all year round and the blossom trees drop their petals over the graves.
